This page explains how to delete your The Cleanik account (app and lacleanik.ca website), operated by Coton Clair Inc.
1. In the app
- Open The Cleanik app and sign in.
- Tap the Account tab, then “Delete my account”.
- Confirm with “Delete permanently”.
2. Without the app
Email contact@lacleanik.ca with the subject “Account deletion”, from your account's email address. We verify the request, delete the account and confirm it within 30 days.
3. What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted or anonymized right away (or after the order in progress): name, email, phone number, addresses, instructions and care preferences.
- Kept for 6 years, as required by tax laws: invoices and tax records of past orders.
- Kept for up to 12 months after delivery, unless a claim is in progress: photos of items and drop-offs.
Deletion cannot be undone. Questions: contact@lacleanik.ca. Details are in the privacy policy.
Version of November 5, 2026. These texts are published during our launch period and are being reviewed by our legal counsel. Any new version will be published here, with its date. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
